這是由非常有歷史的英國牛津大學出版社所製作的學習網站，提供給教師或家長一個給學生或小孩線上學習的平台，主要有閱讀跟數學兩部分，當然你必須先註冊為會員才可免費使用線上的資源，註冊方式很簡單只要提供電子郵件跟設定一組密碼，然後再到信箱確認即可開始使用。本篇主要介紹英語閱讀ebook的部分。

[英語學習] RSVP什麼意思?
在英語中常常會看到一些用字母縮寫的用語，例如ASAP(as soon as possible)、R.I.P(rest in peace)，那RSVP是代表什麼呢? 其實這個詞是法文"répondez s'il vous plaît"的縮寫，英文的意思就是"please respond"，也就是請回應的意思。在國外當有人舉辦聚會或餐會派對時，主辦人為了準備食物、飲料、桌椅或是交通接送時，為了方便統計參加人數而發出邀請函，邀請函中會註明RSVP，也就是希望能得回覆受邀者是否參加的資訊。

[生活經驗] Fortune cookie 幸運餅乾
今天志工媽媽給了我幾個fortune cookie，很有趣的一種餅乾，如果你常看電影的話，應該很常看到在美片中的中式餐廳，會提供這樣的餅乾給顧客，金黃色脆餅皮，像個小水餃或餛飩的造型，重點在裡面包裹著小紙條，有的裡面會有一些幸運的話語，有的是一些幸運數字之類的。主要是增加用餐的樂趣! 話說這種餅乾只出現在國外，尤其是美國與加拿大，還有外國人以為這是台灣或是中國傳來的，其實不然，根據維基百科的說法: fortune cookie其實是美式亞洲風味脆餅，所以它其實源自美國呦!

你是否喜歡"逛"Youtube? Carey有空就喜歡"逛逛"Youtube，看看有沒有什麼好看或好聽的音樂影片。在國外的影片上有一些會寫著"a cappella cover"，"a cappella"是義大利文指的是沒有樂器伴奏的意思，此類的音樂幾乎都是用人聲去模仿樂器聲來表演(有些會透過一些物品來輔助)，中文大概是叫做人聲音樂，有些國家，像英國的倫敦好像有此類音樂表演者的慶典活動 (A Cappella Festival)喔!
